Tool Repair Assessment Fees
When you have your tool repaired at DCE ELECTRICS, there will be ab assessment fee payable upfront if you don’t have an account. The assessment fee will be determined by what tool you bring in. The assessment fee if to cover the labour time while we assess your tool. Each assessment hasa time limit (see the below image carousel). If we need more time to diagnose the fault, we will call you to obtain your approval before we proceed. This will be an extra charge on top of your initial assessment fee.
Tool Assessment Repair Protocol
Once your assessment is complete, we will organise a repair quotation for you. Together with the quotation we will also provide you with a price on a new similar tool. If you do decide to go ahead with the repair quote the tool will be approximately 2 weeks to complete (depending on availability of parts). Once the parts have arrived, we endeavour install the parts the same day. For your peace of mind, we take photos and videos of your tools repair on completion so you can see your tool working 100% before you leave our store. We pride ourself of quality repairs and efficient turnaround times. We understand that your tool is your business and we will try everything in our power to get your tool back to you with minimal downtime for you and your business.
Warranty Repair Protocol
DCE Electrics are repair and warranty agents for nearly every major brand in Australia. We even have access to parts for overseas branded tools. DCE Electrics will require your proof of purchase for a warranty claim. If you don’t have your invoice or proof of purchase just let us know your full name mobile number and email and we will call the tool shop you bought it from to access this paperwork.. Your tool will take a minimum of 2 weeks for the repair to be completed as we have to wait for parts to arrive from the supplier. For your peace of mind, we take photos and videos of your tools repair on completion so you can see your tool working 100% before you leave our store.
