DCE Electrics are repair and warranty agents for nearly every major brand in Australia. We even have access to overseas branded tools. We will require your proof of purchase for a warranty claim but if you just need an out of warranty repair then there will be an assessment fee payable on arrival at DCE Electrics.

Tool Assessment Fees

When you have your tool repaired at DCE Electrics there will be an assessment fee payable. The assessment fee amount will be determined by what tool you bring in for an assessment. The assessment fee is is to cover the first half an hour (in the majority of assessments). If we need more time to diagnose the fault then we will call you and ask if you’d like to proceed with further investigations. This will be an extra charge. Once your assessment is complete, we will organise a repair quotation for you. Together will the quotation we will also provide you with an price on a new similar tool. If you do decide to go ahead with the repair quote the tool will be approximately 2 weeks to complete (depending on availability of parts).
